Don't miss the Ibiza Medieval 2019 fair
Next weekend, between Friday May 9th and Sunday May 12th, Ibiza returns to the past: the historical fair Eivissa Medieval is back! During these days, the old town of the World Heritage City will become the medieval market that residents and tourists are already waiting for anxiously...
The narrow streets of the walled area of Dalt Vila and also those of La Marina (in the vicinity of the port) will once again be the setting for all kinds of activities for all audiences, as well as a place for exhibitions and sales of food and crafts.

A theatricalised journey through Ibiza's past!
Visiting the wonderful surroundings of Dalt Vila in Ibiza is something no visitor should miss. But if you have the opportunity to do so during the medieval fair the experience will be much more fun.
On both Thursday 9th and Friday 10th you can enjoy a dramatised tour from the Plaza de la Constitución to the Plaza de la Catedral.
The entertaining route will start at 11am - be on time!
Puppets and fun for the little ones
For those of you who travel as a family or those of you who consider yourselves "big kids", you should know that La Compañía La Inestable will be with its puppets all weekend in the Plaza de la Catedral.
There will be several passes, both in the morning and in the afternoon. A good time to stop and rest and have a good time with the little ones at home. You'll love them!
In addition, during the weekend there will be plays for children such as ''Sibilo y las Brujas" (Pedro Castaño) or "Los trucos de Aboulhassam" (Las Mil y Una Noches).
Medieval and oriental dances and parades
Another of the great attractions of Ibiza's medieval fair this 2019 (and every year) are the continuous medieval and oriental dance shows, both itinerant and the shows in the cloister of the Town Hall.
And to continue moving your skeleton and walking through the streets of Dalt Vila you can join one of the parades that recreate Renaissance dances.
Although if you are not much to move you might prefer to enjoy the tranquility of a classical concert...
Concerts and classical music
Finally, the last recommendation of Sea Experience, the leading company for your boat trip from Ibiza to Formentera, is not to miss the classical music concerts that will take place during this medieval Ibiza fair.
There will be "medieval concerts" such as "Olivo, Higuera and Palma", but also Gregorian Chant and one by the Ibiza Symphony Band.
